May The Force Be With You (Posted 23 November 2015)
Anyway, when I first saw these two articles from the Straits Times and Channel News Asia about the Star Wars themed MRT trains, I thought what kind of lame release is that (click on the images to link to articles). No actual dates and more skimpy than Slave Leia on the details.

Yeah, see, the Straits Times article is more skimpier than Slave Leia.
But turns out, not their fault, it is the SMRT Press Release that is skimpy.
SMRT, wake up your idea lah. Do or Do Not, There is No Try. Changi Airport, VivoCity and many other retailers are capitalising on one of the biggest franchise ever. Star Wars sells itself and yet, all you can muster is a naked press release?
Next, Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan or The Magic Wan as I call you. I blame you because when train break down, I can say “Tuck Yew” before but now, I cannot say anything but suck thumb. But that is besides the point. Where is your photo op in the Star Wars themed trains? That is what they call, political mileage. Even your boss Ah Loong also use Star Wars to score points.

But Magic Wan, still got chance, buy tickets to the midnight screening and make sure someone take photo of you. Bring a lightsaber and wear Jedi cloak for double the mileage. Do Or Do Not, There is No Try.
May the Force Be With You!
